A CLC Alumnus and Rising Leader at ΕΥΡΩΠΗ Holdings

At CLC, we take immense pride in the accomplishments of our alumni, and today, we shine a spotlight on Lavinia Makropoulou, one of our remarkable alumnus who has made significant strides in both the academic and professional arena. Our relationship with Lavinia began when she was a student at CLC preparing for the SAT. Through dedicated mentoring, we guided her in her studies abroad, and it has been a joy to witness her growth and success over the years. Her journey is a testament to the power of education, hard work, and perseverance.

Lavinia completed her Bachelor’s degree in Global Business Management with First Class Honours at Coventry University London from 2017 to 2020. Her thirst for knowledge and ambition led her to further her studies at King’s College London, where she earned a Master of Science in International Management in 2021. This solid educational foundation has equipped her with the skills and insights necessary to navigate the complex world of global business, including strategic management, international marketing, and cross-cultural communication.
Lavinia began her career gaining international experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, working at leading firms such as Lloyd’s, AON, and Swiss Re. During and after her university studies, these roles allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the global insurance market—particularly in reinsurance, a field she is now actively involved in at ΕΥΡΩΠΗ Ασφαλιστική.

In January 2023, Lavinia returned to Greece to join ΕΥΡΩΠΗ Ασφαλιστική, bringing with her the knowledge and expertise she had acquired abroad. She joined the company to work alongside her father, the founder and owner of ΕΥΡΩΠΗ, contributing to its strategic development and modernisation. Her insights and dedication played an important role in the company’s growth leading up to its acquisition by renowned businessman Socrates Kokkalis.

Today, ΕΥΡΩΠΗ Holdings is entering an exciting new phase focused on innovation and market expansion, and Lavinia is a key figure in shaping this future. With her strong academic foundation and international professional background, she is well-equipped to support the company’s continued success and evolution

Outside the professional realm, Lavinia has demonstrated the same discipline and excellence in the sport of dressage. A long-standing member of the Greek national equestrian team, she has proudly represented Greece in numerous international competitions, including the Balkan and European championships. Her dedication to the sport and her achievements reflect the high standards she upholds in every area of her life.
